This Privacy Policy explains how NAF collects, uses, discloses, and protects Personal Information when you use the Site and Services. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with a written agreement you sign with us or with a Partner, the written agreement governs that transaction.
Definitions
- “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular person or household. This includes Nonpublic Personal Information.
- “Nonpublic Personal Information” means personally identifiable financial information and other information we obtain about a consumer in connection with providing a financial product or service.
- “Sensitive Personal Information” means for example, government identification information, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, login credentials, racial/ethnic origin, union membership, health data, biometric data, or precise location.
- “Partner” means an independent lender, broker, bank, or other counterparty that may offer financing or related services.
- “Processor/Service Provider” means a company that processes information for us under contract (including, but not limited to, hosting and analytics).
- “Sell” generally means exchanging Personal Information for monetary or other valuable consideration.
- “Share” refers to cross context behavioral advertising.

Information We Collect
We collect information in these categories.
- Identifiers: name, email, phone, address, government IDs.
- Commercial/Financial: business name, entity data, ownership info, bank statements, tax IDs, income, collateral details, loan history.
- Application Data: information you submit in forms; uploaded documents; references; guarantor information.
- Device/Usage: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, links clicked, date/time, referring URLs.
- Geolocation: approximate location from IP; we do not collect precise GPS unless you enable it.
- Communications: emails, calls, and texts with us.
- Inferences: internal assessments relating to eligibility or interest.
We may also collect Sensitive Personal Information where needed to verify identity or assess eligibility (for example, social security number or driver’s license information).
Sources of Information
We obtain information directly from you (forms, uploads, calls, texts), from your devices when you visit the Site (cookies, pixels, logs), and third parties (Partners, credit bureaus, data providers, public records, and fraud prevention vendors).
How We Use Information
We use Personal Information to:
- Provide and improve Services, operate the Site, and process and service applications.
- Broker financing by sharing information with Partners at your direction.
- Verify identity, prevent fraud, and ensure security.

- Market our Services (with your consent where required) and measure performance.
- Analyze and optimize Site performance and usage.
Disclosures of Information
We may disclose Personal Information to the following.
- Partners to evaluate and service financing options. Partners are independent and have their own privacy policies.
- Processors/Service Providers who support our operations (for example, hosting, analytics, communications, document management, or cloud storage). They must use the data only for our purposes.
- Professional advisors (for example, lawyers or auditors) and authorities (for example, law enforcement or regulators) as required by law or to protect rights and security.
- Successors/assignees in a merger, acquisition, or financing transaction.
We do not sell Personal Information for money. We also do not share Personal Information for cross context behavioral advertising.

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
Your Choices
You can opt out of marketing messages by using the links in messages or replying STOP to a text. Service messages will still be sent.

Financial Privacy Notice
This section applies to Nonpublic Personal Information we collect about consumers for personal, family, or household purposes in connection with Services.
We collect identifiers, financial and application data, transaction history with us, credit information from bureaus, and information from Partners.
We disclose Nonpublic Personal Information to Processors for everyday business purposes (for example, to prepare and service applications, maintain accounts, verify identity, and prevent fraud). We disclose Nonpublic Personal Information to Partners at your direction for Services and to evaluate and service financing.
We do not disclose Nonpublic Personal Information to nonaffiliated third parties for their own marketing, and we do not offer affiliate marketing opt outs because we do not share for that purpose.
Fair Credit Reporting Act and Adverse Action
For credit related activities, we and/or Partners may obtain consumer reports. If an adverse action occurs based on a consumer report, the party taking the action will provide an adverse action notice when required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Security
We use reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information. No system is perfectly secure. You must protect your Account credentials and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Retention
We retain Personal Information as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, to comply with law, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. When retention is no longer required, we will delete or de identify the data consistent with our policies and applicable law.
International Use
We operate in the United States and target only United States customers. If you are outside the United States, you understand your information may be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Site and Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
Other Important Information
We will comply with state privacy laws to the extent they apply.
California and Vermont customers: we will not share your information except for our everyday business purposes, as permitted by law, or with your consent.
